Ukelear Power is a fun ukulele group based in Preston (Melbourne)
Ukelear Power is a weekly session of ukulele playing and singing. There are three groups,
and all skill levels are catered for from beginners to more experienced players.
The focus is on having fun, but Bruce sneakily teaches as well!
Ukelear Power is based in Preston, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Sessions run for one hour, but everyone is welcome to stay a while for coffee, biscuits and a chat.
Sessions are facilitated by Bruce Watson. For more about Bruce as a ukulele teacher, see above

- It's been wonderful! I came for some fun in company & came away with a new way of feeling things. What an accepting group Bruce developed. (Cath)
- The combined joy, challenges and wonderful compositions keep me coming back, not to mention the lovely community of happy strummers. (Rachel)
- Joining Ukelear power has been my best decision this year: Bruce puts so much skill, thought and love into crafting our music and the background materials. As a newbie, I was a bit anxious about my lack of skill, but Bruce's guidance and the warmth and good humour in the group meant I always felt comfortable. (Jo)
- Being a part of the Ukulele Power family has been a fun way to learn and play a repertoire of songs on my ukulele. Bruce's knowledge of music and his enthusiastic approach to teaching it has been wonderful. (Lawrence)

Tunes
The tunes below are graded by ease, basically according to the chords that are in them, but also other factors such as rhythm or speed.
The easy ones have C, Am, F, G, G7, and sometimes another simple chord, such as C7, Dm, Am7.
Within each category they arranged alphabetically.
As you go down the categories progressively more chords - and more difficult ones - are introduced.
If you don't know the song, just type the title into Google or YouTube and you'll find the original, and quite possibly a ukulele cover version.
Good luck and happy playing!
Please support Bruce making these available
